BettyLUCKHAMBorn 21 January 1930, died aged 91 on 13 September 2021. Betty was an inspirational, strong, black, Catholic woman, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Through her lifelong, tireless and courageous work including as a Community Development Officer, Teacher, co-founder of Cariocca Enterprises and organiser of Racial Justice events as a committed Catholic, Betty touched and enhanced many people's lives in the wider community both in her homeland of Guyana and her home in Manchester, England. Betty had a love of life and enjoyed climbing trees, singing in a Choir, and any and every opportunity to jump up and dance. Betty will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, associates and all who knew her. Rest in Peace with your loving Creator.
